DESCRIPTION:On the 13 March 2023 the Council of Europe Education Department
	 launched two-days’ consultations with the Steering Committee for Educatio
	n (CDEDU) members\, observer organisations and key experts.\n\nThe meeting
	s focus on the preparation of the 26th session of the Standing Conference 
	of Ministers of Education\, which will take place on 28-29 September in St
	rasbourg and its three overarching themes:\n\n- Renewal of the civic missi
	on of education\n\n- Education in times of crisis and emergency\n\n- Harne
	ssing the potential of digital transformation in and through education\n\n
	 \n\nThe Council of Europe Draft Education Strategy 2024-2030 will also be
	 discussed.
