Under t he guidance of Mira Racić and Ines Jančula\, they embarked on a deeply mov ing historical research project.\n\nIn collaboration with students from An tun Gustav Matoš School\, they created a documentary about Ruben and his f amily. As part of their Croatian language class\, they had the extraordina ry opportunity to speak with Ruben's brother\, Rafael Frank\, who is now 8 8 years old and lives in Israel. Due to the ongoing war\, Rafael had to fl ee his kibbutz and is currently staying at his son's home in Tel Aviv.\n\n Rafael generously provided the students with family photographs\, document s\, and letters\, which offered a unique glimpse into both the tragic fate of the Frank family and everyday life in Đakovo during the 1930s. The stu dents were particularly moved by the heartfelt letters written by Ruben an d Rafael's mother\, Ruža Frank\, who\, in a desperate attempt to save her children\, entrusted them to an adoptive couple from Osijek.\n\nThese lett ers\, along with the documentary\, will be showcased at an exhibition at D arda Elementary School\, offering visitors a powerful insight into this po ignant chapter of history LOCATION:offline ORGANIZER;CN=Sanela Toša Ljubičić END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
