Inclusion and diversity are no longer alien to the discipline of history education\, as diversity and inclusion- oriented research and methodological proposals have proliferated\, especia lly in the last two decades. Nevertheless\, there are still massive theore tical\, empirical and pragmatic desiderata that call for the systematic an d focused study of history education with a focus on inclusion and diversi ty.\n\nIn recent years\, a broader understanding of inclusion has emerged. This means that inclusion is not only focused on people with disabilities \, but also comprehensively addresses all areas of social inequality assoc iated with disadvantage. This includes disadvantages caused by language sk ills\, socio-economic conditions\, sexual orientation\, ethnicity\, etc. t hat differ from those of the majority of society. As a result\, inclusion has become a field of research and practice for different professions\, ea ch with its own specificities and perspectives. From a broad understanding of inclusion\, intersectional intersections are also interesting in terms of their impact on historical learning processes.\n\nThis conference aims to provide a dedicated space for addressing these critical issues. It wil l give equal consideration to theoretical perspectives\, practical experie nces\, empirical findings\, and conceptual approaches.\n\nDesigned as an i nternational event\, the conference will be conducted in English. Scholars and interested individuals are cordially invited to join us in Hildesheim \, where we eagerly anticipate their arrival. An exciting conference await s!
