T he seminar will take place in Bratislava from 17 to 21 August 2026 and is open to educators of all disciplines who are committed to teaching about t he Holocaust\, human rights\, and intercultural understanding in ways that resonate with students today.\nThe pedagogical approach promoted in this seminar is interdisciplinary\, rooted in the belief that the Holocaust is one of the most complex events in world history and cannot be reduced to s implistic explanations. This approach integrates Holocaust education\, hum an rights education\, and intercultural education\, equipping teachers wit h the tools to foster critical thinking and civic engagement among their s tudents. The seminar will strengthen participants’ ability to guide studen ts in exploring historical narratives\, drawing connections between past a nd present\, and contributing to democratic\, inclusive societies where ev ery individual’s dignity is respected. Beyond the seminar\, teachers will receive ongoing support to implement meaningful educational projects with their students\, incorporating TOLI’s interdisciplinary methodology into t heir classrooms.
