This event is open to educators of all disciplines who are moti vated to engage with topics related to Holocaust\, human rights\, and inte rcultural education. The seminar combines methods from Holocaust education \, human rights education\, and intercultural education. It aims to: ● Str engthen teachers’ critical understanding of antisemitism\, the Holocaust\, and contemporary forms of Holocaust distortion\, as well as their implica tions for democratic societies and human rights\; ● Deepen teachers’ aware ness of the impact of stereotypes\, prejudice\, discrimination\, and exclu sion\; ● Enhance teachers’ knowledge of Jewish life before\, during\, and after the Holocaust\; ● Develop teachers’ competences to critically assess historical narratives\, educational materials\, and public discourse\, an d to respond pedagogically to misinformation\, contested memories\, and an tisemitic narratives in educational settings\; ● Increase appreciation for and effective use of innovative\, student-centered teaching methods\; ● P romote an interdisciplinary approach to Holocaust\, human rights\, and int ercultural education that fosters critical thinking and respect for human dignity.\nFollowing the seminar teachers will receive support to put their learning into practice\, run local projects with their students and engag e in collaborative initiatives with fellow TOLI seminar participants from other countries.
