DESCRIPTION:A visit to a memorial site dedicated to the victims of the tota
	litarian regimes might be a challenging experience for students and can gi
	ve rise to important questions for a teacher too: how can you prepare the 
	students to enrich their learning process? How can you offer them a new pe
	rspective on history?\n\nWe kindly invite you to participate in an online 
	discussion between a history teacher and an educator from the Mauthausen M
	emorial on ‘Preparing students for a visit to a memorial site’\, which wil
	l take place on 27 February at 4 pm (CET) via Zoom. The meeting will last 
	1.5 hours.\n\nDuring the webinar\, we will also introduce an educational p
	rogramme ‘Sound in the Silence’ – an international and interdisciplinary r
	emembrance project for secondary school students and their teachers. \nThe
	 application for the programme is open to teachers from all European count
	ries and the registration for the 2024 edition starts soon.
