	cale war against Ukraine brings challenges for history education in school
	s in EU countries. It also raises many questions: How to teach Ukrainian h
	istory in Poland and Germany? How to inform the general and professional p
	ublic in the European Union about the current situation of the education s
	ystem in Ukraine? How can we support teachers and schoolchildren in Ukrain
	e? To what extent can we use the experiences from the Polish-German textbo
	ok project "Europe. Our History"\, but also other transnational teaching m
	aterials\, to produce similar materials on history of Ukraine in the broad
	er context of European history? We will try to find answers to these quest
	ions during a panel discussion following the presentation of the documenta
	ry “War on Education” by Italian director Stefano Di Pietro who takes a cl
	ose look at the Russian attacks on the Ukrainian education system. \n\n(Th
	e panel is organized in cooperation by the Centre for Historical Research 
	in Berlin of the Polish Academy of Science with the Joint German-Polish Te
	xtbook Commission at the Leibniz-Institut für Bildungsmedien | Georg-Ecker
	t-Institut in Braunschweig\, the EFREC Program and the European Associatio
	n of History Educators EuroClio).
