Resistance fighters and Holocaust survivors\, outstanding professionals in the political\, sc ientific and cultural fields\, these women inspired the European Union of today. Many of them worked to put an end to the horrors of the two world w ars and promoted the fundamental values of the EU\, both within the Europe an institutions themselves and through political activism. Some of them ha ve even gone on to preside over the European Parliament\, setting an examp le of leadership and commitment. All have defended the European values of equality\, freedom\, democracy\, solidarity\, diversity and respect for hu man rights.\n\nThe exhibition opened in May 2023 in the historic building of the University of Barcelona. It is currently travelling to a number of universities in Catalonia and\, with this French version\, is starting its European tour. \n\nThis travelling exhibition can now seen in Jouars-Pont chartrain (78).
