Abstract of the publication

Inclusive history education presents new challenges for planning effective lessons. The growing diversity of student populations requires history teachers to develop innovative approaches to differentiation and student-centered learning. This volume offers both conceptual insights and practical examples to support educators in designing inclusive history lessons. It places particular emphasis on diagnostic tools and individualized learning plans. Core principles of inclusive teaching—such as Universal Design for Learning (UDL), language-sensitive instruction, and aesthetic approaches to historical learning—are also explored. Importantly, this book does not focus solely on students with special educational needs. Instead, it embraces a broad understanding of inclusion that acknowledges and responds to the full spectrum of diversity in today’s classrooms.
