About Us: The Public Institution Jasenovac Memorial Site, in collaboration with the Kreisau-Initiative e. V. and the Croatian Education and Development Network for the Evolution of Communication - HERMES, generously supported by the Foundation Remembrance, Responsibility and Future (EVZ), invites applications from qualified experts to conduct a comprehensive needs assessment for the "Jasenovac Remembrance Initiative". The Jasenovac Remembrance Initiative aims to establish a lasting legacy of remembrance of Holocaust and genocide victims by promoting peace, tolerance, and active citizen participation. Through enhanced educational content, international engagement, and collaborative partnerships, we seek to inspire reflection, learning, and research at the Jasenovac Memorial Site. Project Overview: The Jasenovac Remembrance Initiative is a collaborative effort to increase the visibility and international outreach of the Jasenovac Memorial Site as an educational center promoting peace and understanding. Supported by the Foundation Remembrance, Responsibility and Future (EVZ), our initiative aims to enrich educational content, expand international visibility, and foster partnerships to commemorate historical events and promote tolerance. Scope of Work: As part of the "Jasenovac Remembrance Initiative," the selected expert will play a critical role in assessing and enhancing the educational and outreach components of the Jasenovac Memorial Site. The scope of work includes: Content Assessment: Evaluate the existing content available at the Jasenovac Memorial Site, focusing on its suitability for international audiences. Identify areas that require translation or adaptation to effectively communicate the historical significance of Jasenovac camp. Determine if any crucial information is missing that is necessary for engaging and informing international visitors about the history and significance of Jasenovac camp.
