Description
In a project with a regional focus on Serbia, Croatia, and Romania, the consortium of 11 institutions and organizations aims to develop target-group-specific methodologies for mapping the understanding of contemporary antisemitism and capacities to identify it, and conduct a study in three cities with many historical, societal, and cultural connections and similarities but also significant differences: Novi Sad (Serbia), Timișoara (Romania), and Rijeka (Croatia). After gathering and analyzing the results, the team will design and promote fact-based practical guidelines and strategic recommendations for national and regional policy/decision-makers on addressing antisemitism in line with the EU strategy on combating antisemitism and fostering Jewish life. The project strongly focuses on outreach, advocacy, and digital dissemination. The project is funded by the Alfred Landecker Academic Research Grant Application .
