Description

The roundtable is a part of the International Summer School on Philosophy of Peace, and the Rights of the Child, held between 25-28th June, 2024 at the University of Jaume-I, Castellon, Spain. This is my brainchild after finishing my MA in Peace, Conflict, and Development Studies from the same university, back in 2011. I have organised 10 editions of the school annually since then. The major goal is to identify the growing reasons for direct, and structural violence in the current world. Global Peace Index 2024 has reported that after WWII, this is the current time when many countries are engaged in violence/wars. Secondly, the roundtable also looks for the moral standing of the West on human rights, democracy, and peace education in today's global conflicts. I have a couple of young minds to talk on these issues in particular, and the others in general.
