Open symposium on History education, nationalism, regionalism and curriculum reforms in Europe and Australia In a half day symposium organised on 30 september 2024 at Umeå University, scholars from different national contexts, Piero Simeone Colla (University of Strasbourg), Andrea Di Michele (Free University of Bolzano) and Mati Keynes (University of Melbourne), will present newly published research on topics relating to history education, re-nationalization, regional identities and curricula reform in Australia and Europe. The symposium is hosted by the Department of Education, Umeå University and supported financially by Umeå School of Education and the Arctic Five Chair Programme.
