Description

Join us for an insightful webinar titled "Exploring Potential Digital Technologies for History Education," where we will dive into the impact of emerging digital tools on history teaching and learning. This session will cover key technologies like artificial intelligence, extended reality, 5G connectivity, natural language processing, and gamification integrated with learning analytics. Our research, which used methods such as technological forecasting, the Futures Wheel, and the Delphi technique, involved a survey of history teachers to uncover the benefits and challenges of adopting these technologies. Topics will include concerns around digital literacy, data privacy, and ethical considerations, as well as the importance of balanced integration and robust teacher training. We will also emphasize collaboration between historians and education experts and discuss the effects on student learning outcomes.
