Description
The main focus of the workshop will be on Holocaust education and remembrance in Italy, particularly highlighting the involvement of Jewish organizations in this field. Using this as a foundation, we will explore and examine the educational approaches presented by our European partners. Through this hands-on exploration, participants will gain valuable insights into the educational initiatives undertaken by different institutions. Engaging in meaningful discussions, we will have the opportunity to delve further into the topics covered in the presentations and reflect on how these perspectives can be effectively integrated into our own educational practices. The workshop is part of the project „Multi-Perspective Holocaust Remembrance in Contemporary Europe“ (short:MuRem). The goal is to build a network and strengthen multiperspectivity and interdisciplinarity in European Holocaust Education by taking into account the diversity of memory cultures and their consequences for the present.
