Description
"Multipliers and Gatekeepers of Holocaust Records in European Memory Data Space," is a half-day event taking place on 20 November 2025, from 14:00 to 18:00 CET, at the Uilenburgersjoel Synagogue in Amsterdam (Nieuwe Uilenburgerstraat 91, 1011 LM Amsterdam). The event is hosted and organized by Terraforming. This gathering brings together educators, curators, researchers, digital practitioners, and memory professionals from the Netherlands, Serbia, Germany, Croatia, and Hungary to explore how digital transformation is reshaping Holocaust memorialization and education. Through keynotes, panel discussions, and an informal closing mingle, we will reflect on trust, innovation, sustainability, and the future role of the emerging European Memory Data Space. The event is part of the series in the framework of the EU-supported project, the European Memory Data Space EMDS - Blueprint, led by the Jewish Heritage Network, in partnership with Terraforming, Centropa, The European Association for the Preservation and Promotion of Jewish Culture and Heritage (AEPJ), Post Platforms, Post Bellum, and the Combat Antisemitism Movement.
