Description

Building on the experience of its Pedagogical Days, developed over several years for secondary school teachers, the Jean Monnet House is organizing a seminar on Tuesday, January 27th, for university professors. The objective is to gain a better understanding of the resources available for teaching about Europe, to bring together teaching and research teams from different universities, and to discuss the most crucial topics concerning the past, present, and future of our continent. For the opening session, an exceptional program is planned: Alain Lamassoure will speak about his work as head of the Observatory for History Teaching in Europe, as well as his vision on the challenges to peace in today's world. A public lecture on Europe's peace in the new age of war, presented by Alain Lamassoure, will complement this event.
