Description
The Olga Lengyel Institute for Holocaust Studies and Human Rights (TOLI) will organize 14 interdisciplinary seminars for teachers and educators in Europe between May and October 2026, in the following countries: Albania, Croatia, Czechia, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Mexico, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia. These seminars are open to teachers and other educators of all disciplines who are committed to teaching about the Holocaust, antisemitism, human rights, and intercultural dialogue in ways that resonate with students today. TOLI’s methodology integrates Holocaust education, human rights education, and intercultural education through an interdisciplinary and student-centered approach. Participants engage with historical scholarship, testimony-based and place-based learning, critical reflection on stereotypes and discrimination, and practical pedagogical tools that strengthen democratic culture and civic responsibility.
