Description
On 15 and 16 June 2026, the LRE Youth Forum will bring together young people from across Europe in Wrocław, Poland, for two days of exchange, reflection and dialogue on history, remembrance and contemporary challenges. The programme, organised in cooperation with the University of Wrocław, will combine historical exploration with reflection on current challenges such as disinformation, ongoing conflicts and questions of identity. Taking place in a city shaped by a complex German, Polish and Silesian heritage, the Forum will encourage participants to explore how the Second World War, post-war migration, reconstruction and changing borders continue to influence local memory and everyday life. Through site visits, workshops and joint discussions, participants will engage with Wrocław’s history in an interactive and accessible way, connecting stories of the past with questions that still matter today.
