About us

At the Center for Historical Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Berlin (CBH PAN), we conduct research on the history and present day of Polish-German relations. By initiating scientific and knowledge-popularizing projects with partners from Germany, Poland and other countries, we aim to promote and internationalize the Polish humanities and support activities related to scientific diplomacy. Our activities have an impact on Polish-German understanding and dialogue, and the research tools we have developed and our experience in popularizing knowledge allow us to go beyond bilateral relations and conduct projects dedicated to the common past and heritage of all of Europe.
