Description
The seminar held on December 14th, preceding the Working Group meeting on December 15th, primarily aimed to facilitate the sharing of information on project developments. Although no written report exists for this initial meeting, Professor KASER and Daniela GRABE's report was integrated into the main report due to their attendance. The Chair, Alison CARDWELL, emphasized two main priorities: reporting on the status of Quick Start projects and identifying new projects for Phase 2. It was acknowledged that potential cooperation, cross-fertilization, and dissemination of project outcomes are essential. Furthermore, there was a call for effective evaluation, with a preference for independent evaluation with proper financing and transparent criteria. The participants also discussed the inclusion of education in CARDS, the EU program for the Western Balkans, and the need for cooperation with various organizations and networks.
