Description
This seminar and conference, part of the Stability Pact for South Eastern Europe and organized under Working Table I, aimed to enhance history education and teacher training in South East Europe. It brought together participants from various countries to discuss training needs, promote a comparative and transnational perspective in history teaching, and encourage innovative, active learning methods. The conference sought to create a framework for regional collaboration, emphasize the importance of history education in fostering mutual understanding, and address the specific challenges of the region in a period of political transition. Several workshops and activities were planned to facilitate these objectives.
