Description

Case Studies and Online Resources for History Educators. i-Teacher 30 (featured article), p. 9-17, 2021 On the occasion of the bicentennial anniversary of the Greek revolution the present paper aims to briefly present selected case studies and an indicative list of online resources History Educators can utilize in order to introduce the temporal and the geographical context of the Greek Revolution to their students. The selected case studies (the outbreak of the Greek revolution in the Danubian principalities, the ‘Lebanese campaign’ and Haiti’s support to the Greek revolutionaries) will enable students to gain a more profound understanding of the past events and their complexity.
