European Innovation Days in History Education 2023 - Highlights

The European Innovation Days in History Education is the annual main event organised by HISTOLAB which showcases innovative ideas on how to improve, or revolutionise, the teaching of history across Europe. The event brings together history teachers, academics, researchers, practitioners, junior professionals, and students all in the field of history education to engage with one another on ideas previously submitted through an open call, or by attending the side events organised by the HISTOLAB partner organisations.

The first edition of the European Innovation Days in History Education was held on 8-10 March 2023 in the European Economic and Social Committee for the first two days, and the third day took place in the House of European History.

More than thirty projects from both established history education associations and individual schools and teachers were featured over the course of the three days.
