Description
This webinar is part of the Time to Think Project. Historical interpretations are constructed through choices about evidence, emphasis, connections and explanation. This webinar explores how Thinking Routines can help students understand why different historical accounts can emerge without reducing disagreement to a simple question of bias or opinion. Participants will compare developing interpretations, identify the evidence and assumptions on which they depend, and test how well each account explains the historical problem under investigation. The session will focus on helping students move between evidence and interpretation, challenge an existing account, and construct increasingly defensible interpretations of their own. You can find more information about the project on our website. You can sign up here for the First Online Peer Learning Activities. The webinar will take place on January 12, 2027, between 17:00 and 18:00 CET.
