Key Conclusions and Outcomes: European Innovation Days in History Education 2024

The official event report and highlights video for the second edition of the European Innovation Days in History Education gives an overview of the conference, and more in-depth analysis of the themes and discussions that took place over the course of the three days.

The conference welcomed 130 participants from all across Europe and the world, including the recipients of the HISTOLAB Award for Innovative School Projects in History Education from 9 different schools or projects.

The thematic focuses included how to further amplify marginalised voices in history education, using local history, museums, and memorial sites in history classes, how to alert students to manipulation of historical information, and highlighting the needs of stakeholders in the field.
